    LEAD FACILITATOR

I'm a transformation coach, an intuitive energy/Reiki master, and a gentle yoga teacher.

In my former life, I graduated from Agnes Scott College with a degree in psychology. I taught grades K-7 off and on for 20 years and loved almost every minute of it. When I realized I was coaching and practicing Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with my kindergartners more than focusing on Common Core Curriculum, I decided it was time to pursue what I love most.

So I created Soul Stretch Retreats, a passion project allowing me to lead small group healing retreats in Blue Ridge and Tybee Island, Georgia.

Every experience I’ve had helps me help you on your healing hero’s journey. I love sharing my strength and hope—and my passion for personal transformation. I’ve got 4 great kids, twin grand boys and a supportive husband who brings the science of spirituality to each retreat.

    CO FACILITATOR

I've always had a love for nature, hiking, backpacking, and exploring the solitude and expanse of our wilderness areas. Events in my life led to what I call my spiritual awakening about 10 years ago. Delving into the science of emotion was profoundly life altering. This journey has allowed me to change the way I practice medicine, allowed me to connect with individuals on a different plane, and brought me contentment and happiness on a scale previously unrecognized and unimagined.

For over 30 years I have been in private practice in Gastroenterology with a sub special interest in Hepatology affiliated with Piedmont hospital. 15 years ago I helped start the liver transplant program at Piedmont Atlanta. I'm a native of Sandy Springs, Georgia. I received my BS and Master degree in organic chemistry as well as my Doctorate of medicine at Emory University. I moved to Seattle Washington for my residency but returned to Emory to complete my fellowship in Gastroenterology.

    PRIVATE CHEF AND GUEST FACILITATOR

I've been in the hospitality business in Atlanta, GA for over 30 years. My sisters and I started and grew a mom and pop catering company into a boutique business that thrived until Covid hit. At that point I was given the opportunity to follow my heart, move back to Kentucky, help raise my grandchildren and direct Shepherd’s House Community Recovery Center.

I started on this journey of self discovery 4 years ago and nothing in my life looks the same to me except my name. Soul Stretch Retreats played a pivotal part in my journey. I say this with the clearest heart—I would not be the person I am without these amazing retreats.

Instead of looking for the person of my dreams, I AM the person of my dreams.

That's why I play a dual role at each retreat--preparing fabulous food to feed the soul, paying it forward for people that are where I once was.
