What keeps you alive 24/7/365 without you having to think about it? Hint: it starts with a b and once you become aware of and start connecting with it you’ll be gobsmacked by the difference it makes in your mental, physical and spiritual health!

Today and every day for the rest of your life—consciously connect with your BREATH.

Say to yourself, “I’m aware that I’m breathing.”

Then Inhale. Pause. Now drop your jaw and exhale with a sound. And repeat. Simple.

Now grab a pen and your journal. Or a piece of paper, a post-it, an envelope... you get the picture. Without editing, write the answer to these questions:

  • What keeps you awake at night or keeps you from falling back to sleep when you wake in the wee hours?

  • What are your intentions for creating a Daily Practice and what do you want out of it?

And to wrap up for day 1, find a way to MOVE your body. Hit the gym, dance, walk, yoga, run, Hoolahoop--whatever feels good and helps clear your mind.

Pick things you like to do and keep it simple.

You’ll be more likely to get and stay in the habit of doing them. Those habits create your reality when practiced with commitment, consistency, and repetition—one day at a time. And eventually, you'll be living a life you love
